Amy Robach Claims Her & T.J. Holmes’ Careers Were Taken From Them

Amy Robach joined the ABC morning show back in 2012. She then took over the slot after Good Morning America, hosting the show post-Pandemic: What You Need to Know. The series later morphed into GMA3: What You Need to Know.

In 2014, ABC News brought T.J. Holmes on board. He quickly became buddies with Robach. Soon after, he was named her co-host.

Robach once told People, “You couldn’t have picked a better person to ask me what I thought of.” She was referring to Holmes. For the past five years, they’d been trying to find a way to work together.

Holmes is “like my brother,” Robach said. They can finish each other’s sentences. They get along like a house on fire.

She added, “It’s so wonderful to have, again, it’s that trust, and you don’t always have that on the set.” She knows that Holmes has her back, no matter what. And she’s got his. That’s everything, she said.

Robach also mentioned that she and her husband, Andrew Shue, often double date. They go out with Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig.
