Brian’s got a confession. He’s got five kids, and none of them were planned. He’s a 50-year-old dad who loves his kids to bits, but he’s never had that experience of hoping for a positive pregnancy test.
Sharna, on the other hand, might change that. She’s got a different idea for their second baby. She wants to plan it, do the tests, and walk the journey together. If they go down that road, IVF might be their best bet.
For now, though, Sharna’s just glad Brian got a vasectomy. She’s not a fan of birth control; made her feel all out of sorts. So, she’s pretty grateful for Brian’s decision. It’s a big deal, a beautiful thing even.
It’s taken the stress out of their sex life. No more worrying about ‘are we or aren’t we’. It’s a gift, really. And if they decide to expand their family, they’ll plan it. If it’s in the stars, that is.
