Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are on cloud nine. The couple from The Golden Bachelor got hitched during the live telecast of The Golden Wedding on January 4th.
Theresa’s vows to Gerry were heartfelt. She called him the “most wonderful, kind, sensitive” individual she’s ever known.
Their relationship isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. They’ve had their share of laughter and tears. They’ve faced numerous hurdles, including a near-death experience on a California freeway.
Theresa made a solemn promise to Gerry. She vowed to be his peace in the midst of chaos. But, most importantly, she pledged to make the rest of their days on earth fun-filled.
Then it was Gerry’s turn to express his commitment. He acknowledged finding a true partner in Theresa. He recognized her as someone he could share all of life’s ups and downs with.
Gerry made a promise to Theresa. If she agreed to be his life partner, he would strive to make her the happiest woman on earth. The 72-year-old didn’t stop there.
He made another promise. He pledged to choose Theresa every single day as his beloved. He vowed never to take her heart for granted. He committed to expressing his love for her loudly during the day and whispering it softly at night.
