Heads up, folks. This piece talks about suicide.
Sharon Osbourne’s been pretty candid about some tough times. She’s been dealing with the fallout from her husband’s affair with a hairdresser. Yep, Ozzy Osbourne, the rock legend himself, had a four-year fling with Michelle Pugh. Sharon found out in 2016 and it hit her hard.
Real hard.
So hard, in fact, that she tried to end her life. She’s 71, you know. “He’s always had groupies,” she said, talking to Jane Moore, a journalist from The Independent. She was in London, on stage, sharing her story. “I was used to that.”
But this? This was different.
“He knew her name, where she lived, where she worked… It’s not the same. You get emotionally invested,” Sharon said. She took pills. A lot of them.
Sharon’s a TV personality, you might know her from The Talk. She’s also a mom. Her kids – Aimee, Kelly, and Jack – are all grown up. They’re in their late 30s and early 40s. They’re also Ozzy’s kids.
“I thought, ‘My kids are older. They’re fine. They can take care of themselves.’ So, I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she said.
Her maid found her. She was trying to clean the room and saw Sharon.
People confirmed these quotes from Sharon. E! News tried to get in touch with Michelle Pugh and Ozzy’s rep. No word back yet.
