Sophie Turner had a year for the girls last year. This year seems to be following the same pattern. The Game of Thrones actress took some time to reflect on her friendships, especially considering her recent breakup with Joe Jonas.
“2023 was the year of the girlies,” she captioned a Jan. 2 Instagram post. She added, “2024’s forecast is looking fairly consistent.” Sophie is 27 years old and she shared a bunch of photos throughout the year. These were special moments with her girlfriends, including a group picture with Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.
This picture was taken during the Oct. 1 Chiefs game at Metlife Stadium. Sophie and Joe Jonas, a member of the Jonas Brothers, split up in September. They were married for four years. During this difficult time, Sophie found comfort in spending time with her friends.
One of these friends was Taylor Swift. The “Cruel Summer” artist even lent Sophie her New York City apartment. Sophie was navigating her divorce from the 34-year-old Jonas Brother at the time.
Sophie, who also stars in Do Revenge, joined Taylor on several girls’ nights during the fall. They had dinner in the city with other friends like Brittany Mahomes, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevigne, Selena Gomez, and Blake Lively. It seems like Sophie’s year was indeed for the girls.
