Tom Schwartz has finally spoken up. He’s given his honest take on Katie Maloney’s unexpected hookup with Max Boyens. A shocking revelation, indeed.
On Vanderpump Rules’ March 26 episode, it was all laid bare. Schwartz’s ex-wife had a fling with one of his closest buddies during season 11’s filming. Schwartz, co-owner of TomTom, finally broke his silence about the one-night stand. He also revealed his current status with Boyens post-fling.
Boyens made the call, Schwartz said. It was five days later, and Boyens was clearly uncomfortable. Schwartz shared this during a BravoTV after show interview. “We had lunch in the valley,” he said. Boyens was apologetic, blaming alcohol for his actions.
Schwartz, now 41, mentioned that Boyens pinned the hookup on “proximity”. He added, “I think Katie was—I’m not saying she was the aggressor, I think it was mutual—but I think Katie was on a mission.” A mission, huh?
Boyens did try to make amends with Schwartz. But that didn’t make things any less awkward. Especially for Schwartz, who also co-owns Schwartz and Sandy’s.
