Bojana was born in Belgrade, Serbia on November 17, 1981. Best known for her Film Critics Circle of Australia Award-winning performance in the 2011 movie Burning Man and for her Australian Film Institute Award-winning portrayal of Randa in the Australian miniseries Marking Time. She also appeared in the American series Shameless and the Australian series Rake.

After attending Sydney, Australia’s McDonald College, she earned a bachelor’s degree in drama from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Early in her career, she appeared in episodes of Heartbreak High, Big Sky, and All Saints.

Did you know: A stage performer as well as a screen actress, she appeared in productions at the Sydney and Melbourne Theatre Companies and founded a performance troupe called the Ride On Theatre.
