Catherine was born in Epsom, Surrey, England, UK on April 3, 1972. Actress best known for having played Mel Gibson’s love interest, Murron MacClannough, in Braveheart. She also appeared in several British films and stage productions.

Her role on Braveheart led her to roles in Dangerous Beauty, and 28 Weeks Later, but she stated in an interview that she had trouble finding interesting scripts.
