Jon was born in Los Angeles, California, USA on July 21, 1957. Comedian and former cast member on Saturday Night Live who has appeared in such films as The Wedding Singer and Rat Race. He also voiced the character Quasimodo in the 2012 animated feature Hotel Transylvania.

He attended UC Irvine and graduated with a degree in theater in 1979 before becoming a member of The Groundlings comedy group.
