Roy was born in Los Angeles, California, USA on May 22, 1988. Music producer and songwriter who is best known for his high-profile collaborations, including Jeff Bhasker, S1, and Dave Sitek. He was a founding member of the indie-rock band Eye Alaska and the musical project Under the Canary Dynasty.
He started his music career with the band Dead Letter Diaries. He was later discovered while moving to Boise, Idaho to work at Pizza Hut by Jeff Bhasker in 2012.
