Sam was born in Jacksonville, Florida, USA on September 2, 1977. American bassist most famous for being a founding member of the rap-rock group Limp Bizkit, who achieved massive popularity in 1998 with the album Significant Other. He was named Best Bass Player at the 2000 Gibson Awards.
He attended attended Bishop Kenny High School and the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida. He played guitar before switching to bass.
